The elephant safari is conducted through the designated zone and route. These safaris are solely maintained and operated by the national park authorities and there are strict rules and regulations that the tourists have to follow strictly. Two individuals with one mahout are allowed in one elephant.

Best Time to Visit

The most suitable time to conduct elephant safari is in the morning hours and therefore their slots are designated only in the morning shift from 6:00 am to 7:00 am and 7:00 am to 8:00 am. During the monsoon season, Manas National Park remains closed, and as a result, both jeep and elephant safaris are also cancelled. However, in the winter and the summer seasons, that is, from November to May, bookings for elephant safaris are in full fledge.
