The nearest airport to Manas National Park is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. Guwahati is well connected with major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. This makes it the most convenient entry point for tourists coming from outside Assam. From Guwahati, Manas National Park is around 170 km away. The journey by road takes about 4 to 5 hours. The best route from Guwahati is via NH27 towards Barpeta Road and then to Bansbari or Panbari range, which are the main entry points of the park. This road is in good condition and offers a comfortable drive through small towns, green fields, and riverside views.

Guwahati → Nalbari → Barpeta Road → Howly → Bansbari Private taxis and buses are easily available from Guwahati to Barpeta Road. From Barpeta Road, shared cabs also run regularly to Manas.
